I can sort of guess.
I think Tanahashi comes across as extremely cheesy on purpose, in a loveable way. Something similar to John Cena but more poetic, I suppose.
Naito is deliberate but way more casual. Something similar to Shawn Michaels but with less showboating.

Actually, with Naito, I know that I have seen plenty of Japanese tweets and youtube comments saying that his style of promo, whatever style that may actually be, has been heavily ripped off across Japan, from Noah to Joshi like Stardom.

Japanese is one of those languages that is overly formal and sounds corny as fuck. Instead of "i'm gonna beat your ass" it's "Victorious, I shall achieve! When, in the course of combat, I am declared the winner!"
