This nigga died doing a stunt that was completely unnecessary to sell his joke character
If Sting fell to his death while coming down from the rafters, then people could at least understand the need for him to attempt the stunt in the first place, since it was an important and established part of his gimmick's appeal by that point and it also generated huge pops whenever he did it
But Owen could have just come out from the entrance way flapping his arms to get the same reaction...."nope, let's lower him from 80 feet high using some shit that'll malfunction if he farts too hard mid-air"
And not only that....they kept the show going after they knew he died. How much disrespect can one get right after dying? They really hit everybody with "Owen Hart has died......but COMING UP NEXT! THE ROCK! TRIPLE H! ONE ON ONE! BAH GAWD IT'S ALL LIVE, AND IT'S NEXT!"
