Has anyone done a playthrough where they pick a specific person and they tried to emulate their booking style to a T for better or worse? I want to see how far I can get booking like Tony Khan.

Tony Khan is literally playing a TEW game IRL so you can do a normal gameplay and it will be the same shit. he does. 20 stables in your promotion, roster with too many people, abuse of backstage interviews and barely a good angle once in a while, etc.

I'd like to think I do this all the time. Whenever I play historical WWE mods for example, I try to mostly push "Vince guys". Sure, I hire indy guys here and there to bolster the midcard, but they don't really sniff the main event. I've pretty much always played that way, even back in EWR.
I think a Cornette booked AEW run could be really fun. I never really tried booking AEW in TEW because of how bloated their roster is, but when larping as Corny it'd actually make sense to fire like 80% of the roster.

Never understood ending up with a huge bloated roster by choice, I like to have long term plans for all of my guys and I prefer a balanced small-mid sized roster where everyone is always doing something. Love tournaments, though, and I wish Tony Khan understood how much fun they can be when booked with future plans in mind

I would always start a new company, give myself unlimited money, then start hiring free agents and people on PPA deals to permanent deals with me or just sign anyone leaving WWE that I knew until my roster was extremely bloated and I got bored. Only a few years later after AEW emerged, I realised I was just living out Tony Khan's fantasy
