An event with a similar name took place on April 1, 1991, involving wrestlers from WWF and Super World Sports (SWS). WWF Champion Hulk Hogan retained his title against Yoshiaki Yatsu in the main event. Genichiro Tenryu defeated Randy Savage, George Takano defeated Bret Hart, and John "Earthquake" Tenta defeated Koji Kitao via disqualification. Minoru Suzuki also wrestled on the card, defeating Apollo Sugawara. The show took place at the World Hall in Kobe, Hyogo, Japan, and drew just under 6000 fans.

Those were all Cody’s. His dad created the PPV’s. He gave those up to get the Rhodes name back though.

Yeah, Cody trademarked Bash at the Beach, Slamboree, and Superbrawl when they expired from WWE. He wanted the Rhodes name back in 2020 so WWE let him have the name in exchange for those WCW PPV names. It’s why AEW started using Beach Break instead of Bash at the Beach in 2022.
