I always figured that Haku was tough by pro wrestling standard and probably slapped around some of the fake tough guy wrestler so to save their credibility they just built a myth around him and the other island boys like Barbarian as being super human. I'm pretty sure they did this same shit with Finley.

What good is your "toughness" if you don't know how to properly punch, kick, time your strikes, position your body, control your opponent's body and use leverage to take him down, ground and pound, do submissions, etc?

That's the point, you idiot. You can learn all those things you mentioned in a gym. But toughness is innate, you either have it or you don't. So when skill is equal, the tougher man will win. Even when skill isn't equal theres a high probability that the tougher man will knock the head off the more skilled weaker man.
