Nash was a good promo and had charisma and of course size, but he needed to be paired with guys with much higher charisma (Michaels, Hall) to get over.
In terms of matches, Nash was terrible. His only good matches are when he was carried by Shawn or Bret.
One of greatest grifters in wrestling though. Hogan was a prolific backstage politicker, but also the biggest draw in the world for years. Nash parlayed middling ability and freakish size into being (briefly) the face of the WWF, one of the top few guys in WCW, breaking Goldberg's streak, and being head booker for WCW. All this while working a light schedule on WCW with frequent breaks. Nash even faked an anxiety attack to get out of jobbing to The Giant. Not quite Heyman level, but up there.
