Judging organic heat is the easiest shit in the world.
But you're not understanding what is required to build organic heat.
Talent + an interesting character in an interesting story.
Cody clearly did not have either in excess.
His heat was all Comeback heat, which is brittle.
The fans certainly would have turned on hin quickly. No doubt about it.
Any face that WWE obviously chooses and overtly coronates gets naturally pushed back by the audience.
The audience is semi retarded - but they still react to organic growth, and to those who seemingly deserve it.
