Why does the Big Gold always look better than every belt made by WWE? It always mogged every design.

I thought the winged eagle and big eagle complimented the big gold nicely and were never mogged. They were more of a more colorful, cleaner alternative.

Bullshit. The modern belts look awful. Winged Eagle would be a massive improvement, even if you think it's too "small" (which doesn't matter given how much smaller the average wrestler is today).

Hogan was putting over the IWGP heavyweight championship. It wasn't about the WWF's belt design at all. It was just a way to elevate his match against Great Muta, who was champ at the time in NJPW. Hogan also had one foot out the door by 1993. Hogan won that match btw.
