Dives from the top rope to the outside, especially on flips where you're relying on others to catch you are fucking stupid as shit. Half the time it doesn't look good on TV (because WWE's camera direction sucks) and is only really used to pop the crowd. Its not worth the potential injury to someone on a fucking televised show that's ultimately inconsequential. If you're having a bad match and its not on a PPV and isn't the culmination of the hard work of a LOT of people, then don't do stupid stuff.
Wrestling is a shitty business and its hard to get TV time and opportunities to show off, but don't show yourself off by injuring others (unless you have family ties, in which case, go ahead apparently).
