AEW has a roster filled with people who need to improve on a lot of things. And instead of letting them do promos, angles, skits, let them try new gimmicks and such, they only got to do squashes on Elevation. Think of how much people like Darby, Sammy and Jungle Boy could have been helped if they had done a promo or something each week on this show. It's been 2-3 years. They would have had over 100 more promos and I guarantee, promo 100 would have been a lot better than promo 1.

Dark and Elevation were the only shows where Tony had free reign to basically live out every IWC fantasy he had, because the show didn't need to get any ratings. He could have had all the random dream matches he wanted on these shows. He could have booked a million different Mexicans. No one would have cared. Instead, he did all that stuff on the main TV shows which hurt his ratings and stopped other talent from getting over.

Dark and Elevation are two of the worst wrestling shows ever produced. They accomplished absolutely nothing and weren't even entertaining. But at least we got those win/loss records padded for the currently non-existent rankings system.

Dark on tuesday has had its moments. Tony allows for promos sometimes, just not a lot. Fuego Dos was over wirh me, and so were the Acclaimed when they used to tag there. The problem is Tony can't atop fucking.it up. For a while there he was putting content from live events in the Dark slot, instead of the comfy Florida crowd. Ir's confusing. Most people don't know the difference between Dark and Dark Elevation because they both have Dark in their names.

I never liked the name either. I debated weekly what I should call it when I reviewed the show as everyone knows it as Elevation, but AEW Dark: Elevation is the correct name.

Makes total sense, theres no need for Dark and Elevation.

Now you can have Dynamite and Collision as the A shows, Rampage as Sunday Night Heat for the lower carders, and Dark can serve as developmental.

Ring of Honor should either be it's own separate thing entirely or it should just swallow up Dark and become developmental.

Rampage is on TV but outside of that very little. It's just additional content for an eventual streaming deal and a chance for younger wrestlers to get extra reps. They don't really need it anymore now they have Ring of Honor and Collision

One of the main complaints with WWE is oversaturation and AEW did the same as soon as Dark became a thing.

He had Emi working those tapings all the time and never once designated her as the producer/trainer/whatever for the women who were sent to Dustin if they ever felt like they needed more help and only then if they actually showed up since they wouldn't be there if they weren't booked. Tony has no idea what he's doing. He thinks if he just books Good Matches aimed at getting Meltzer stars then everything works out because he's stuck in the 2000s IWC where everyone ate that shit up and if it worked in his EWR games then it'd totally work IRL too.
