It's obvious that's what happened. He left TV mid-angle and left the company entirely less than a year after debuting on TV. That's a firing if there ever was one. Tony just doesn't like to be known as a guy who fires people, so he kept it low key.

I don't think it's mainly because of Phil(it definitely could be though). Fish is friends with Drake Younger who is anti child trafficking and stuff and AEW is the tranny/grooming fed which rubbed him the wrong way
