Ryback’s reputation continues to plummet, and no one wants to have anything to do with him now. This is especially because of his petty and bitter behavior in general, as well as his constant attacks on WWE. That said, he also makes sure to keep up with any drama with WWE and this includes CM Punk’s recent WWE visit. Now it appears he threw shade at Punk as well.

CM Punk has never failed to create controversy wherever he goes, whether it be in WWE, AEW or anywhere else for that matter. Punk recently made headlines after he paid a visit to WWE before RAW this week.

Unsurprisingly, CM Punk was asked to leave WWE RAW this week, but he had more than enough time to interact with other WWE Superstars and had a small chat with Triple H as well.

Quite a few NXT Superstars threw shade at CM Punk after his visit. In light of this incident, Ryback took to Twitter and decided to throw shade at CM Punk as well. Ryback pointed out how he would have handled things differently compared to Punk.

>If I wanted to see friends in WWE I would see them anywhere except the arena. If I wanted to “smooth” things over I would pick up the phone and call or reach out through my attorney. If I wanted to create buzz and drama I would show up unannounced and have Tamina get me backstage grab a few muffins and hit the road.

CM Punk also received a warm reception backstage during his visit. Punk’s WWE visit was also called a ‘power play’ against Tony Khan. Regardless, Ryback will continue to hate CM Punk no matter what and that is unlikely to change anytime soon.
