In terms of generally, I'd have to say the whole mythology around Ted Turner and wrestling. Turner wasn't particularly a wrestling fan, had no allegiance to it outside of it being a ratings draw, and certainly didn't give a flying fuck about Vince McMahon in any "war". He ran a billion dollar corporation which had thousands of shows or publications. The entire notion that Turner paid any attention at all to WCW or that he wanted to beat McMahon is a complete invention by WWE
