I always thought the reason old school worked in kayfabe is because you always twist their arm over your head first

I defence of Taker'dumb move, he wrings their arm first so that they can't turn into him which is also kind of stupid but not nearly as bad and when he first was doing it he had a sequence of moves where he twisted their arms and lifted them to put pressure on their shoulder to weaken it first.

There are other rope spots you can throw the undertaker at this isn’t one of them. White has to grab Komander’s hand for no kayfabe reason cause they shoot forgot to do it before the spot started.

Getting up on the rope serves a point, too. It's so he can jump down and use his inertia to hit his opponent with extra force. Komander's gay bouncey time accomplishes utterly fucking nothing, not even from a kayfabe perspective.

Imagine defending or celebrated Kommander doing this bullshit spot when they have Gran Metallik on the payroll who pioneered rope walk spots like this and does then way better.
Imagine defending this clumsy, pointless spot when in aew alone there are already too many guys doing much better rope walk spots: Metallic, Fenix, Starks, Archer.
Imagine posting Undertaker's rope spot as justification for a bad tope spot, when Taker's one has a logical set up and is part of his targeted shoulder offense, instead of being a pointless series of flips. Even if it wasn't, you're saying Taker's is bad so you're admitting that Kommander's is even worse.
There is a history of guys like Jeff Hardy, Eddie Guerrero and Sami Zayn doing similar spots but all of them were much faster and believable and had logical set ups.
There is no excusing Kommander's spot and it's the only thing he does.
