You gotta have at least one women's belt in this day and age. It's unfortunate, but American companies that big have to bow to cultural demands at least a little bit. Not even NJPW gets away with it anymore. You cut a women's belt, people will bitch until it's made. That's how we ended up woth the women's tag belts, and if people bitch about women's midcard belts enough, they'll probably make those too.

Yea great example of “the marks are in the ring”, the product being designed to satisfy the wrestlers to the detriment of the product.

Belts like the womens tag belt make sense and could be good but they were only created to placate failey

no offense but I honestly think the whole idea of a TV champion is outdated. The original idea was to have a midcard belt that was only defended on free TV. They never really stuck to that rule, though. Either way, TV is not the most important medium anymore and an internet championship just sounds cringe.

They need to end the brand split also. Make Raw the main show again and give it 2 hours of TV time then have Smackdown as a 1 hour secondary show. Have the IC Title and Tag Titles main event SD. Having two brands with such a dimeless roster doesn't work at all and gives more tv time to shitters.

I also feel like rosters are bloated as fuck so a ton of wrestlers end up pushed to the wayside or rotate on/off tv and the weekly shows become a big mess.
