I stopped watching WWE since mania but I don't see a lot of wrong with this.

First. It's a house show. It wasn't televised so it doesn't hurt the image of the promotion at large.

Second. Gable and Otis are good comedy wrestlers and they usually mix up jokes with good wrestling. This isn't out of character.

Third. You are judging a whole match based on a single still from a house show.

It's expected of WWE to do goofball stuff.
AEW initially promoted itself as a serious sports-based product while its fans present themselves as wrestling connoisseurs.
It's fun to cause mass amounts of seethe from them when pointing out the contradiction between that and the Elite being faggots or MJF and Jericho doing a musical. AEW has almost never been serious in its existence.
