The winds blow hard across Ger IV, rolling aside the small stones that cover its dry plains and sending chunks of scrap metal tumbling across the dark dirt. The sky glows with the iridescent swirls of a warp storm, its dancing clouds gently descending to kiss the earth or scar it with the explosive touch of celestial lightning. The colorful display dances across the scarred and blackened pieces of a Battle Barge, the broken metal groaning as the gusts buffet its battered hide. In the shadow of this wreck a solitary figure stands, his armor warped and broken, black blood slowly oozing out, he is…>Decarn Hexan, last of the Galvanized Brethren (Iron Hand successors) >Tiber Castellan, last of the Lances of Sol (Imperial Fists successors) >Munkh Sargat, last of the Interdictors (White Scar successors) >Zuhn Bellator, last of the Glaives of the Emperor (Ultramarine successors) >Write-in (For the write-in I'd only need a name, parent chapter, and general idea of a chapter badge.) As an open question while I wait for votes, is there any peculiar parts of 40,000 that you would want to see explored? While the story will loosely keep to 3rd-5th edition content, I'm open to incorporating or modifying other parts of the franchise or fanon and fitting them in.

Quiz Malignant !ETA.FdUZ0Q ID:KyBas/gb Wed 28 May 2025 00:54:09 No. 6249278 Report You do not allow yourself to be an easy target and bolt towards the nearest crowd of renegades. They’re taken aback as they see the eight foot superhuman barrel towards them and fade into an intelligible haze. Materializing within the group, you waste now time bringing your knife across their throats and chests, sparing a few the touch of your blade to instead vaporize them with your pistol. Panic sets in the melee, intensifying when the other fel soldiers open fire on the comrades, seeing their sacrifice necessary to end your life and earn the favor of their patrons. You oblige such fratricide, frequently shoving nearby heretics into the spray of bullets. You cut and bash your way into the thick of the mass, your armor managing to hold against the stray autogun rounds and knives striking it. As the gunmen seem to close in on you, you once again use the ghostplate to phase through the staggering crowd, your ghostly form passing through the worn walls of a nearby building. Not allowing the surprise to be wasted, you decide to evade the imminent fire and dash up the building’s stairs, planning to out-maneuver the renegades and reach the spaceport by leaping from building to building. Your strategy is stalled however, when you rush up the stairs to find a cultist kneeling, thrashing about in a profane prayer to a crudely shaped effigy. So transfixed in his worship, the cultist does not notice your arrival.>Kill him and continue your route to the spaceport >Force him out of his spellbind and pry answers as to what ritual he is a part of >Defenestrate the cultist to the renegades below >Write-in

Only when your armored hand grasps his shoulder is his bewitchment broken. He has little time to realize what is happening before he collides with the dirtied glass of a nearby window, only managing to scream as he begins his plummet towards the hard earth. There’s a momentary lull in the gunfire, but it quickly intensifies towards the floor you were on, shattering remaining glass and perforating the walls with bullet holes. You let the renegades continue to unload on the apartment as you dash towards the wall, using the ghostplate to turn into a phantom and leap through to one of the final structures just outside the walls of the spaceport. Your attempt to exit the building is interrupted by the deafening boom of high explosive, you cover your body against the debris as you catch a glimpse of another rabble of soldiers stationed outside the spaceport, armed with grenade launchers in conjunction with their various guns. Quiz Malignant !ETA.FdUZ0Q ID:KyBas/gb Thu 05 Jun 2025 08:26:37 No. 6253158 Report You rush down the stairs as the building shudders from the impact of another blast. You charge at the wall, ghosting through it and intersecting the renegades creeping around the walls. You knife comes down on the one nearest to your right, you don’t even bother to look at him die as your head swivels to aim your blast pistol, it’s invisible beam boring through four other soldiers lined up neatly. Your attack has staggered the encirclement and you hurry to capitalize on it. Hacking apart the others, you rapidly cut your way into the group that had given you chase. The corrupted troopers run out of the building and charge in to help their fellow gunmen. Their shouts of your impending doom and cries to the dark gods waver as you continue to effortlessly slice and burn the lot of them. As you are thinning their numbers, you spy some of the spaceport guards preparing their explosive launchers. You deftly reposition to cover yourself from the incoming blast, letting the other soldiers take the brunt of their comrades’ volley. As the smoke clears and giblets hit the pavement, you raise your laser to end the grenadier’s assault. Time seems to slow as your enhanced senses raise the barrel of your pistol towards an exposed array of grenades strapped across one of the soldiers' backs. There is no indication of your success or failure as you pull the trigger, a brief silence as your weapon fires with no visual feedback. Then the mob blocking the spaceport explodes into flame, broken bodies and shattered equipment thrown and scattered across the ground. You see a few survivors squirm and claw at the ground. You ignore them, content to leave them to an anguished death as your armored gaze is turned towards the worn space port.>Charge directly in to the port >Attempt to sneak into the facility >Prepare an ambush for the sorcerer and his entourage >write-in

Quiz Malignant !ETA.FdUZ0Q ID:VX1mjEXC Mon 16 Jun 2025 01:13:34 No. 6259054 Report You elect to draw the sorcerer and his lickboots out of their hiding and kill them in the open. You look over the structure of the space port, spying cameras open and hidden, their construction makes their sightlines easily known. You drag the now dead remains of some of the renegades around, making sure the optics catch your disrespect but not your tinkering with the remaining explosives. After setting the corpses in their place you move to the buildings ringing around the port, creeping up and down the stairs and swiftly maiming the inhabitants. You make an effort to ensure their deaths are witnessed, and you take special care to leave a group of cultists engrossed deeply in ritual swinging above the streets. Finally you force an unfortunate turncoat armed with a vox to relay your taunts to his leader. “I curse you and your idolaters sorcerer. Your band will suffer five score what my battle brothers did if you do not face me. I await your death in the shadow of my vessel.” He stammers as he repeats your false challenge. His use complete you squeeze the trigger on your blast pistol and let the headless, smoking body of the soldier drop. Quickly you phase between the buildings, clambering up the walls of the space port. You stealthily move to the edge to witness a squad of coat wearing heretics lead by the woman you saw earlier. Bolt pistols and power weapons are drawn and ready as they move cautiously outwards, scanning the nearby buildings and taking in your handiwork. You spot their first mistake as one too curious cultist moves over to examine his comrade’s butchered body. You aim your gun and fire at the grenade hidden just under the cadaver. The explosion overwhelms whatever sound the invisible beam would have left, and you see the heretic’s lines falter from the blast. You leap from your vantage point, only the woman managing to see your arrival and fruitlessly fire one of her pistols at you. Your ceramite boot snaps one of the men in twain, and the shocked faces of his fellows turn to face you. To their credit they do not flee, and even muster some jeers against you.

You easily sidestep the blow and deflect a thrust from him with his knife. You fire your pistol at him and see the shine of a refractor field glow around him. As you dance around the attacks and the stray bolter round, you see an opportunity and swipe your knife across the man’s chest. You keep up the facade of the fight, allowing him to exert his last few strikes before the hemorrhaging overwhelms him, causing his sword to clatter as he hacks up his own blood. You let him suffer as you close the distance between one of the two remaining turncoats. Their numbers thinned, the woman takes a more aggressive approach, you can see her snarl as she fires the two bolt pistols at you, making your fight with the other axe wielding cultist a far more difficult trial. As you bob and weave through the hacks and slashes, you see an opening and take it, your blast pistol holstered as your hand reaches forward. It grasps the gorget hanging from his neck, sending it skittering across the stone as he struggles to lift his axe head out of the ground. As he wretches the weapon free of the earth, you kick him square in the toros, sending him stumbling into the path of a bolter round. Blood and flesh splatter across your lenses as his chest explodes out, you stare through the wound towards the armed woman, speedily phasing through the collapsing corpse to swing your knife across her open neck. Instinctually her guns fall to her side as she tries to stem the bleeding. You stand still as you watch her fall to her knees, Not even bothering to tilt your head down to her as you see her point one last spiteful gaze and one verbal barb drowned in the flowing of her own vitae.
You are given little pause to relish your victory, as you hear the thunder of heavy boots on stone rapidly approach you. Honed instinct sends you into a dive as a hammer swings inches above you. It’s ogryn wielder shouts at you as he hefts it up into the air. You leap as he brings it down, cratering the ground and sending rubble airborne. You try to flank the brute and sink your knife into him from behind, but a powerful gale blasts you back into his swinging arc. You can barely make out the sorcerer raising his staff.

Quiz Malignant !ETA.FdUZ0Q ID:VX1mjEXC Sat 21 Jun 2025 07:12:14 No. 6262459 Report The sorcerer’s magics are the real threat in this brawl. You will stop his interference first. You shuffle back, goading the ogryn into charging at you. As the abhuman surges towards you, you let the train of muscle pass through your ghostly form. Your drawing is quicker than the sorcerer's incantations and you stop his attempts to corral you back into his bodyguard’s range with multiple precision shots from your blast pistol. He holds his staff high as it shines violently as the unseen beams impact it. With the heretic on the defensive you speedily close the gap, preventing his oversized guard from coming between the two of you again. You strike at him with your knife, the clashing of its blade against the staff handle as he struggles to keep up with your strikes. You let the edge pass through the handle, watching the sorcerer stagger back in shock at his rod coming apart in two. You promptly kick him out of the scuffle, hearing ribs shatter as your ceramite boot collides with his chest and sends him airborne for a scant few moments. The ogryn’s wrathful cry reaches you just before he does. But you are ready, and leap out of the way of his crushing hammer blow. Without the sorcerer’s winds, outmaneuvering the brute is a task fit for a neophyte. You taunt him into one more strike. “Your master made a mistake to choose you.” You sidestep the swing he gives as an answer, and vault onto his back. You plunge your knife through his crude helmet, and yank it back through his thick skull. You jump off as the ogryn releases his hammer and brings his hands towards his head, trying to assuage the fatal pain before he slumps over and enters his death throes. Your attention turns towards the sorcerer trying to recover from his injuries. He raises a hand as you stand over him. “Mercy space marine, mercy.” The sorcerer’s voice trembles, thick with both fear and ambition. “Your victory is given by the dark gods, I will gladly give my knowledge to your pursuits if you spare me. Surely you can see that you’ve been blessed by Chaos.” He says as he points at your halo. You say nothing as you allow the silence to further wear the magician. “The cultists here will obey my commands, there is a warband within the system who strikes against Ger V.
