A world where might makes right. A world of Jade and Gold, of Phoenix and Dragons, of Pills and Talismans, of Martial and Spiritual arts. A world where diligent training yield strength, meaning freedom. A world where loneliness means death, meaning social chains. A world still unfair, as the ones reaching the heavens are most likely born rich - be it political riches of the aristocrats, power of secret knowledges and hidden realms of clans, or lucky enough to be born one-in-a-thousand genius. This was not the case of Quiet Word - that is, (You). Your current skill level is on par with other genius of your age. But where they were graced with secret techniques and special care, you just had lucky encounters leveraged to the best and a knack for navigating social situations. You own a trove of techniques and treasures for such a young cultivator - more than you can study efficiently, but your strength lies in the impressive amount of Bonded Spiritual Beasts - A Phoenix spirit, a Horse spirit, a Snake spirit and a Wolf spirit. Speaking of that last one, you didn't told a world about him to anybody. As a scion of the Primordial Wolf spirit, its father warned you of its worth and how people could want to rip it away from you. Especially in such a ruthless and public environment than, say, a townwide cultivator tournament. Previously mentionned worth comes from its ability to Fuse without restriction - fusion being a secret of the higher ranking of your sect, secret you have almost completely rediscovered on your own, and freely shared with your sect-siblings (but not your masters). Alright, the Primordial Wolf might have helped you on that "figuring it out by yourself" point. Recently, you found a way to ream-walk to the Astral Plane by leveraging the Hidden Legacy of the Herculean Magus, where you picked a supply of spiritual beads. Supply vastly shared to your sectmates, and heavily solicited on in your latest endeavor; a ruin exploration where you caught Spiritual Plant-Beasts. Right now, you are waiting for the town's master to charter you back, the Gang of Four Seasons sect-defining artifact in the hand of your good friend LienWen YanEr : an elaborated ploy to grant all of you what you desire. LienWen will get her so-desired fatherly approval, while you will come back with Ping Jun to beg for the Orb of the Seasons to be given to his Versatile Harmony Sect.

Anonymous
>>6265599 okay it doesn't NEED it but it's better to do 12, 14, together, which is 26 and keeps up above 60 and in prime regen territory.
adding 16 would make 41, but I'm fairly sure would get us our answer.

Anonymous
>>6265619 it IS relevant to the strat, in that it turns 33 into a success where it otherwise wouldn't be.
We want to know clearly and finely how much it takes to break though the first gate. it's the cheapest gate to break and provides us good info on the second. . .
hmm, maybe it's worth spending another lot to trigger phoenix to see if that pushes us over the second gate. It'll make future calculations on the bonus easier.
but the next breakthrough isn't [just] to advance, it's to give us knowledge to make future planning easier

1st gate: 11 to 20
2nd gate: ??? < 22 but wasted more than the first gate when we used 20
3rd gate: 33<x
4th gate: 44 confirmed.
12, 14, let the Pheonix trigger if we haven't already crossed it.
if we get our answer though, use 10 to try and force the second gate.
As by knowing the 1st gate, we can get a rough zone of where the second gate is.
for arguments sake, gate 1 is 15. the waste is 5. the upper bounds of gate 2 would then be 17
which would give us a hint as to the pheonix's bountry

The end of the year comes with a few surprises. Your last Rising Phoenix pill paid itself at least twice : the constant stream of attuned Qi letted you work hard, hard and even harder. Your constant work paid of nicely : first, you brought your Phoenix Wide Ballet to its current Apex. This technique is a versatile body foundation skill. With your understanding way deeper than four year ago, you now know it's extremely good to have. With means to smash bottlenecks, this will help you overcome your naturally meek constitution once you'll inevitably start getting limited by your poor endowment. Last, there is the time you're taking for yourself totally not strolling in the wild but definitely looking for precious materials. >>6268455 Okay. Okay.
Alright. So I'm pretty sure Stormwood is the best use of our time here.
breakthrough demands us spend [waste] time stabalising, and the current stratergy is
12, 14, 16 to trigger the first wall then spend the remaining qi to trigger the second gate and our Qi gift.
this isn't a PROPER breakthrough so delaying it a month is fine. it sets us at qi 58 and the last 2 gates can be bypassed with 77.
that's a single months cultivation, which means given 3 months [to test, then recover, then do again] we will be next stage and with a much better view of the world.
Woodstorm is a none repeatable event.

which. . . really leaves us with the question of if our qi can push up a 3 difference from where we know it can.
but anyway, if we get it right first go, then boom, we can hit 2 places with 74 danitan full.

>According to Ryota, a StormWood is brewing - an opportunity to gather high-value materials, plants or beasts! We have to do this. No debate rare mats and spiritual beasts are great.
We don't need to recruit any juniors as we got a nice batch last year.
And breakthrough can wait next month. It sucks but those resources will pay dividends especially since we're still locked.
Also for the keyword switch I'm thinking balance as we could slap time into the technique. But wanna see the affinity list word believes he has.

Body and Strength are both meek. However, Strength can be alleviated with Spellmight once your understanding of Herculean Magus improve, and Body is overall never a bad choice; think jack of all trade in body-related matters. Physical Resistance, trained by Golden Scales, is nothing to scoff at. No clue about Stamina, Arm or Attractiveness (although the latter certainly is inferior to Bathias' innate Chadness)
Balance is bad, else Stable Lotus would have proposed to recruit you; legs is quite good with your Unlimited Rising Star Kick practice and all.

I'll vote stamina
