“Some huntsman you are.”
You ignored Cardin’s curse and him escaping the fight. You cracked your neck and dove into the danger. The deathstalker shrieked. You saw Pyrrha Nikos, a green robed dude and a hammer wielding girl. You shot your boomstick, and the deathstalker seemed unfazed but did catch your attention. Since the Cabin Incident, getting a grimm’s attention was easy, a gift and a curse.
“Hey, six eyed freak!” You called out. “Come and get some!”
The deathstalker whipped its eyes to you.
That’s when you realized… You didn’t exactly plan this out.
“Me and my big mouth…”
You ran to the other direction. The deathstalker broke through the trees like a bulldozer without stopping. You ran across a small clearing then hopped over a bush. The deathstalker’s audible snap of its pincers followed, but so did the gun fires of various guns and explosions. The deathstalker shrieked, as the firepower distracted the deathstalker long enough you sprinted to the deathstalker’s side.
You raised Shiela high then slammed down the saw into the deathstalker’s muscle between the exoskeleton gap. Shiela let out a mechanical cry but the flesh endured.
“Watch out!”
You looked up and saw the sting aiming toward you. That is, if not for Cardin’s mace shooting out a fire lance. So the asshole did come back after all. With one final push, the pincer fell to the ground.
“Finally decided to be a huntsman?” You said.
“Just shut up and fight.” Cardin growled. “You got me into this mess, what’s your plan, genius?”
The students behind you attacked just in time. A flurry of slashes of Niko’s blade and the green robed dude from above cut the stinger off.
“Watch my back!”
“What are you going to—”
You focused your aura all in your fist. You hopped over the other pincer’s snap and landed an aura slash right into its face then shoved Sheila deep into the mandibles.
“Buckle up, boneface.”
Sheila revved, the chains spun, and the deathstalker’s face turned to minced pieces. You turned around to see more grimms on their way, and Cardin fell to the ground as four other students tried to fight off the small pack of ursi. You fired your broomsticks as you charged in, stunning the ursi long enough to rush in and shove Shield deep into the ursa's guts to save him.
"You alright?"
"I'm fine." Cardin took up your hand to get up. "I could've taken it."
"Not saying you can't. You're my partners and partners don't leave each other hanging."
Four ursi were left.
You and your damn curse.
>"Hey gruesome grizzlies, over here!" You could always lose them after getting them away from the group here.
>"Stick together and don't get overwhelmed!" You stood your ground to fight them off.
