>>6298185 Versequest and Downerquest are good shouts, too. I hope StoryQM is okay.

>>6298203 >>6298068 What this anon said. VerseQuest and DownerQuest were both radical and I hope the QM's doing fine... we barely got to touch Alienfest...

>>6298068 >Open Roads I approve of that one. Only lurked in the last thread while catching up, but it was one of the first quests Ii saw here that drew me in. The granularity of combat, stacking bonuses on rolls by careful investigation, the trade setting, the state versus family debate and the family branches needing to be navigated...it left a mark on my current quest for sure. Hope QM's alright.
As for mine, I'll still shill this one:
>Elin Veteran Quest by Hien/TidesQM It was pretty amazing to live through as one of a small group of voting players, honestly.
>Gonzo Bullshit That one, it's predecessor Cyberpunk Superhero quest, I think it was. Ran only one thread, it was fun. May have lifted some of the training and schedule aspects actually.
>Virgin Neckbeard Warlock. I still remember that one taking the board by storm. Fun times.
In the same vein as Gonzo:
>Brutalissimo Quest Fighting, somewhat immortal MC, fun worldbuilding, contract work, the good stuff.

>>6298083 Fork and Spoon is actually in kind of a rough spot now. I was planning on continuing it around this time of year, while being between jobs. Mentioned it a couple Qtgs ago. But back in March I started up Digimon Quest and completely underestimated how long it would take to finish it, so I want to conclude my current one before moving on to F&S, which I also want to finish with a meaningful endpoint related to Penny’s restaurant and her cooking career.
But the second issue is that I’ve gone through a bit of Nintendo fatigue this year. Like actual seething over them being litigious little goons, and wanting their law office firebombed. This is a problem because F&S came from my passion for food, my love for pokemon, and my spite towards particularly ugly designs that I wanted to see chopped up into delicious Chinese meals. But with that love drying, it’s difficult to get motivated.
But maybe A-Z will bring back some of that interest, or rekindle some of that spite with truly hideous designs. Either way I need to finish Digimon Quest before I can think about picking it back up. A little funny that I’ve gone from Pokemon to Digimon like some kind of fandom refugee. If I ever decide that I truly can’t deliver and will drop F&S, I’ll be sure to admit it here instead of blueballing forever.

>>6298185 The short answer is that it's impossible to run a quest when 5/7 days in a week are spent hiking around in a place where at best I get 2 bars of cell service, and I was exhausted even on the days off.
I don't want to promise anything but I've had some ideas floating around for a continuation of some sort in the winter when I've moved on from my current job.
For now, Beta stays in the museum.

>>6298201 Monster Facility, though, is kinda fucked :( sorry. Unlike Fork and Spoon I can make no promises. The first iteration was fun as hell, but it was a LOT of bookkeeping, folklore research, and planning on my end in order to try and make an entertaining research system, which I simply don’t have the autistic spark for anymore.
I did work on a draft for V 2.0’s artstyle earlier this year, though!

So /lit/ has a webnovel general. Would they like quests? They seem to favour quantity though.

>>6298299 >Fork and Spoon is actually in kind of a rough spot now. Aw maaaan. Had my hopes up there. Granted, The Tower is a very nice tradeoff, and given that you ALSO did Monster facility, it seems clear I'll enjoy whatever you choose to run.
I get what you eman abotu Nintendo, but my phlosophy with them and their lawyers is the same I take towards Neil Gaiman's writing or Pantera's music: I might not like the artist, but the stuff they made still matters to me. I just stop paying for it and start pirating it. With a big company, it's even easier to separate art from the source, since the rat bastards in legal have naught to do with the actual thing we love(d).
>>6298306 >>6298307 >>6298309 A follow-up with less bookkeeping and art would still be cool, btw.

whenever it comes back , and I imagine some of them would make great QMs.

New IDs only count for .5 votes. Is this a good idea for a QM to utilize? Purely hypothetical.

>>6298230 It was pretty amazing to write as well. Odd feeling to be reminded of it in this way after so long and even stranger to look through all the notes.
I've been trying to navigate through an unwelcome and different heading in life for the past 2 years. I'm finally making progress. Perhaps that would mean getting back into quest writing in some fashion, but I will think that through before committing. Anonymous
