>Go to bed.
The wolf-girl’s ancient cellphone can’t really take photos, so she decides to print out a screenshot of her Google Maps amalgamation. Once the printer finishes churning out her map, she carefully folds the still warm paper and sets it on her nightstand for tomorrow. If anyone could figure out the mysteries of those dots, it would definitely be Holmsie!
For a moment, Clover gazes longingly at her laptop, but she forces herself to walk over and close its lid. Being a responsible pack-leader came first. The pack was going to be meeting up super early tomorrow, after all, and she had to make sure she woke up even earlier to get there on time. The wolf-girl straightens out her ears, then heads to the bathroom to brush her teeth and get ready for sleep.
As she rinses her mouth, Clover finds herself reflecting on her day. A lot of things had happened, and she’d talked with a lot of new people. Not everything that took place was good, but even with all its ups and downs, she wouldn’t trade away any of it. She’d gone on a hunt, she’d had a nice burger, and, most importantly, she’d actually, finally made a true friend and packmate. Maybe there were even some other potential packmates in the works too!
As she slips into bed and pulls the blanket up to her chin, she muses on all the possibilities. Lor-Lor was practically already a pack-member, she just had to put on the ears. That girl who set up the whole meeting in the first place seemed like she was pretty cool; they’d promised to exchange names the next time they met! Bea was a little shy and Clover didn’t really know too much about her, but maybe after she handled everything with her friend Rocky, they could meet up again! And, finally…
The wolf-girl’s ears droop a little when she remembers Samantha. Then, she takes a deep breath and nods. A good pack-leader looks out for her packmates. She couldn’t change what happened in the past. All she could do was try to become better for the future.
With resolve in her heart, Clover closes her eyes and falls asleep.
>Clover has gone to bed.
