We shall have her summon a pack mule and cart off everything of value, slay the manticore and claim both the reward and the loot (We will meet her on the road outside of town)
To ensure she doesn't abandon us we will make her swear on her gods
Also, offer her protection in these bleak lands. it sounds like she needs it

Ask xiphos some questions about her religion. It should put her at ease to talk about something she likes and understands

>Our Hero realizes his initial approach may have been a bit too brash, even if he was "kind yet firm" it clearly sent Xiphos into a panicked mess, he softens his voice (which isn't hard, as his voice is already very soft) and holds his hand out, giving Xiphos a kind and reassuring look

>he tells Xiphos that he apologizes as he was expecting to fight, he calmly explains that there are some more questions he wants to ask her and he's willing to help her out

>Xiphos gulps, still shaking she hesitantly takes Our hero's hand and helps herself up

Her hands are covered in wraps, what little we see of her skin is pure black
She probably looks alot like a devil sorcerer but paletteswapped
The parrallels between the holy 72 and the demon 72 are obvious
