◕ Many mechanics from last thread have been heavily simplified, some intentionally but others because game design is no joke and I’d rather be safe and boring than having megucas no-clipping through the floor. It was either this or waiting another month but don’t worry: we’ll have them, in time. The same pattern from the first thread still remains: you either roll your stat or bullshit your way to roll a stronger stat to do the same thing. Just argue with me.
◕ As promised, stats have been overhauled- a bit, at least. The most notorious change is the addition of Perception, which now does all that Wisdom used to and now Wisdom is all about being a good girl™.You’ll see. I’ve rearranged the current character sheets to how I thought would make sense so just bitch at me if you think something is nonsense. All that being said, and thanks to the timeskip, all gucas from first thread get one more point to distribute freely. Rita, please, fucking pleaaaaaaasee add it to Mind, i’ve low key done this all this circus just for that, girl wake up.
◕ There are no more random events. The point of them was to keep things fair in case my girls got the itch to just go full psycho and hunt each other down, full retard, but I’ve decided to dumb down the whole thing so I can be a bit more arbitrary. One, because fitting random events into specific contexts was too tiring. And two, because pretty much every qm in existence just flings whatever the fuck they want to the players and it seems to work great.
Of course, to make my raw favoritism for Emma a bit harder to notice I’ve come up with an alternative to random events: Luck rolls. What they do is simple; depending on how they go, the situation is as bad or as good as it could be. Luck rolls don’t determine how something goes, but how hard the situation will be to resolve. If you want to get shit done, use either your brain or your stats.
◕ Setting a few realistic expectations: I am not a native english speaker. I’ve read through the entirety of the last thread again and I’m sorry, I’m so fucking sorry guys. The typos were so bad that I couldn’t understand some of the sentences. Mid-thread, I've even gone as far as using Grammarly to spare you some suffering, but not even that was enough to save some of the posts. This time, I will proofread EVERYTHING before posting. Meaning, posts /will/ be slower.
