>>5879468As you enter the city itself, you try to think about what you need to do.
You look at yourself…and you realize that you do in fact look like a homeless person or just better. Your clothes are a tiny better that they were when you escaped the Dothraki, given you put on the ones you found in the abandoned cart, but frankly…going to the military command like this will likely get you beaten up and tossed into jail after being accused of stealing your warhorse – the Sarnori military is not known for its kindness.
Rolled 57 – Success (Roll under 65)
If memory serves you well, you invested some money 3 years ago in a small liquor store of which you knew the owner as a friend of a friend…a Valyrian, Aemon of Volantis. Well maybe it’s time you visit him to pick up your money, also because all you got to your name right now is this horse, a longsword of dubious quality and a small buckler…
It takes you around 20 minutes, asking for directions, to find the shop – it has expanded since you were here last time (which could speak good for your investment) but not nearly as much as you hoped it would.
Still…you place the horse by its reins on a nearby post, pay a small silver coin to a guard to keep an eye on it, and then enter the shop.
Rows upon rows of wine and other fine liquors greet you.
…alright, maybe your initial expectations – that the Valyrian had ran his business into the ground – were wrong. It seems he did manage his shop rather well since last time you have been here, given you distinctly remember this place being almost a dumpster selling cheap liquor.
As you enter, a salesman approaches you, clearly to intercept you before you (due to being dressed as a poor person) bother anyone else.
”May I help you Sir?”
