Out in front with the escape vans, the hired drivers can handle the pursuit, but you're drawing a lot of attention and might get cut off. People who escaped in the vans can roll +Sharp to spot for their drivers. If anyone gets 7+, you spot the police ambushes and that van escapes. Otherwise, [Chased] with +4 Cool from your driver.
Once you escape, you're out. Go someplace quiet to count out the money, and to pour one out for the dead.
