All of which is surrounded by a deep, murky grey-stained body of water. The atmosphere seems to subtly shift once you arrive.
As if suddenly manifesting out of nowhere, a small group of totally inconspicuous dockworkers step out from the fog to approach the seven of you. The group consists of four average looking drones and a human of all things.
[SEEKERS OF THE CITY] Both you and Kiara feel something off about that one in specific. Every worker you've seen so far in Q-Corp has been a Drone. Why do they have a human working for them?
"Hello!" The human is also the first to speak. "I see that the seven of you are looking for something! Perhaps you are here to find a missing shipment? We can lead you to our warehouse to help you find it!"
"INDEED. WE PROMISE THAT IF WE CAN NOT FIND YOUR LOST GOODS WITHIN SEVEN BUSINESS DAYS, WE HAVE TO PAY YOU 50% OF ITS RAW VALUE IN CASH AND Q-ENERGY: THE SECOND MOST EFFICIENT ENERGY IN THE CITY."
"SHALL WE?"
The human's smile is a bit too wide for your comfort and the Drones, while seemingly normal, just look off to you. Maybe it's the way they smell or look but they seem too 'clean' for a lack of a better word. Their uniforms look almost brand new and the human's hair doesn't look messy at all.
[UNSTABLE] YOU FEEL A COLD RUSH OF DREAD RUNNING DOWN YOUR SPINE. LIKE YOU'RE ALREADY STARING DOWN THE BARREL OF A GUN. YET NO ONE HAS THEIR FIREARMS OUT YET...
[UNSTABLE] YOU SWEAR YOU CAUGHT A GLINT OF SOMETHING. IS THAT...A SNIPER WATCHING YOU? THEY DID LAY A TRAP HERE!
[PERSON OF INTEREST] But Benjamin warning you has given you the wherewithal and paranoia necessary to detect it. You know these are the guys who were stalking you. They were EXPECTING you to head here.
[PERSON OF INTEREST] Something's off about them beyond their shadiness. They seem scared. They constantly look back at the Warehouse as if they're expecting something to happen. Maybe the Sniper is also watching them as well.
Your allies quickly pick up on how obviously shady the dockhands are as well. Benjamin's warning was enough to keep everyone here on high alert.
"Are you even sure we're looking for a shipment? What if we were just lost visitors? The fog is pretty bad." Max prods a bit at the dockhands.
"Nonsense! C'mon, we'll resolve all of this at the warehouse." The human's smile gets even wider. He looks like he actually has a gun to his head. "Please. I implore you. Let's head towards the Warehouse."
You're on high enough alert to notice the trap the Dockhands are trying to lure you to. You're pretty sure the big four aren't here yet, they'll probably only become a factor after you secure Molly...
You do need to deal with the Sniper and the Dockhands though. You doubt you can just leave without the Sniper trying something. Not without someone dying that is.
