The ground quickly became a maelstrom of battle as Lucian laid into the horde with his scythe. The strength he had gained becoming so great that no mere Zombie or Skeleton could pose a challenge to him. The zombies he was among quickly learned this as Lucian shattered their frozen bodies into a cake of half frozen sludge gore painting the nearby wall.
They tried to grapple him, the Knight being forced to look into the faces of the damned who he had failed to save. They tried to bite and claw and grapple but Lucian simply had to flick his scythe to turn them all into a pile of death.
Yet as soon as he killed them he noticed the purple motes of light dancing across their bodies. From the husked bodies they began to rise once again as if death was not an inevitable cause of life. That they were constantly being forced to fight on behalf of their damned lords for a foolish goal!
“BY MORR STAY DOWN!” Lucian demanded on the undead with a mighty strike of his scythe. Yet even from this strike they were still rising.
It was the Necromancer, Lucian realized, it was the Necromancer who was keeping this fight going! If such a creature fell then perhaps the horde would fall apart without their master to control them. That was true, Lucian knew without knowing, but he also realized that so many undead in the area made killing the Necromancer not an instant victory. That was because Nagash, cursed be his name from beyond the grave, would simply puppet the undead until the wind of Shyish ebbed away.
Yet there were the monsters. Surely they were no simply like these zombies that they could be knitted together? Those monsters Lucian had been slaughtering earlier were of that breed, that the Necromancer only chose now to keep him tied up in these undead!
It was then, and only then, that Lucian noticed white hair in the crowd of undead. He saw the White Dwarf bringing down his axe upon a horde of undead that was in the direction of neither the Necromancer nor the three Giants. Then he was gone, Visa had disappeared.
A fellow? A fellow living mortal among the horde? He did not know how the Dwarf was down here but perhaps what he needed now more than ever was someone to help cut through the undead and kill these monsters!
>Head towards the Dwarf
>Kill the Necromancer
>The Giants! The Giants!
