"I hope it lives up to it. He said they were trying to steal a Deckerdramon sample?"
Doc grins.
"Ah. Yes, that'd do it. I'd wager that stealing Digi-DNA of one of the key military Digimon in their security forces is going to bring down an awful lot of heat. That's a business opportunity for me too. I'll go talk to Squid. The girl's a natural."
<span class="mu-s">"Thanks for everything so far, geezer."</span>
"It's not completely out of the goodness of my heart. You've had lots of juice in that core. I've learned a bit from scanning it." He retorts. But you can tell he's trying too hard not to sound soft. You're going to miss him, and he'll surely miss you too, from the sound of it.
You sit there in Doc's living room for a bit more, eating snacks and making small talk. Your big day is coming soon, and you'll only know when the date will be after Hi-Commandramon's meeting. Doc refills your .apps in exchange for the data you've recently obtained, replenishing your Freeze code, two uses of Optical Camo, and the three sneaking tools that you used in the Hospital. He even hands you the latest prototype of Lifel1ne, with vastly increased stability.
This might be one of the last couple of times you see him, so you consider making the most of it and asking some more questions.
>Write-in: Ask Doc something specific, whether it's about your upcoming missions, Digimon you've met before, or general mechanisms of the city.
