>>5481081Eh, fair point especially on the religion. But we are at least fulfilling his demand for more planets and a greater war effort. Honestly, I'm not too worried about the naysayers as long as the important people are okay with our works.
The Emperor wants progress in the great Crusade. We are progressing the Great Crusade, even if it is behind the front lines. We churn out armies that push the front lines, and send our Knights to conquer in our name. We most certainly are not doing a Lorgar right now because the shit we build legitimately advances and expands the war effort.
>>5481226Yeah. It is true. That is also why we empathize with Alpharius a lot, because he knows the plight of working with secret projects. He's fighting battles that no one can record and when he brings up the conversation of tactics, Roboute pulls the 'well I've won hundreds of battles how many have you'.
Side note but Alpharius also is a strong believer that the Imperium needs to start actually holding and securing the shit they conquer, so he'd also support our efforts to bolster the Federation.
>Basically TalOS is just stupidly overextended and his greed to fulfill as much as possible in the shortest time possible has actively backfired on him. I wouldn't go so far as to say that. If anything we are the least overextended primarch technically speaking, our territories more consolidated and productive than anyone else. Not any different than Roboute Guilliman and the realm of Ultramar, or even perhaps Dorn and his fledgling space empire.
Overextension is what happened to Perturabo but that's because he accepts stupid orders and doesn't care to complain.
Anyway, like I said, we don't have to worry too much about the opinions of some of our Brothers while we can flaunt that we have more planets and more armies than each of them individually ever could. Even Roboute. The Emperor wants planets, we are conquering planets. Just in our way. And that way is building armies that go forth and take planets, rather than doing it one at a time ourselves.
>>5481259I am of the belief that TalOS could as well design the actual Repulsor Tank whenever we land our hands on the Predator. Might need to take a trip to Columnus to go play around with their anti-grav tech (or go to Deliverance to play with theirs but i don't think the Lion would be fond of that).
However, the more immediate goals I think we can pursue is working with what we have now, that being, since we prefer Volkites over Bolters make it so the Leman Russ Incinerator is our standard tank armament over the basic Baneblade. Tbh I'd more wish we could invent Beamer Melta tech and apply it to the Deimos Predator's Magna-Melta cause I think it would have a bigger punch. But whatever can separate our Russ from the basic design we'll be giving to the rest of the Imperium.
We keep the good stuff for ourselves if they are rarer to produce.
