>>6019898Yup, this is what I was going for. Not even God will stop the stonk line going up. Because when it comes down to throwing rhizomes with a god or facing a bear market, deicide is very much in the cards.
>>6020288>>6020412>Shroomy, can I assume that you’ll be sending me “infestation box” by overnight mail?I was thinking about that exact thing. Also.
>Calling it an infection box is slander! Here at MESH, we guarantee product quality to inhuman standards! The Mk1 Mushroom Long-Term Battery has a 0% chance of accidental contamination Contact with a Kaiju and attempts to disassemble the container will void product warranty As an aside, I've been thinking. Since Shroomy's infection is a secondary nervous system, wouldn't that make it able to eventually animate inanimate objects, like constructs? Because Ii find the idea of turning Dewa-Penyu into a small marketable plushie of itself very amusing. Also, by signing up with Shroomy, wouldn't DP fork over its likeness as far as copyright is concerned? Can Shroomy corner the market on Kaiju merchandise by getting exclusive rights to merch of any Kaiju he infects? Is this really the time to think about that? Profit projections say yes!
Possibly because we're all about to die. Well, those of us without Mushroom-insurance anyway!
>The Argentinians would much rather hang back and watch. Shroomy understands. After all, it has been doing that for a long while. But, as a human politician once put it...>"We must, indeed, all hang together, or we will assuredly hang separately.">Action 1: The Japanese will have their battery. Shroomy puts one together in record time. It is more than a little messy, but it is self-contained and non-infectious. The outputs are drawn from the previously-developed power converters used by the Argentinians, so the biggest issue the Japanese may face in interfacing the battery with...whatever "mysterious" thing they might use it on would be differing voltages and power adapters. What the Japanese do not need to know is that any part of the mushroom, even cut off and repurposed and shipped across a quarter of the globe, is still a part of the whole. The inside of the battery does contain spores and enough to kickstart a growth and infection. Shroomy can still tell energy signatures apart and watch a TV screen. Mecha-Penyu only needs to gently peel back parts of the battery and let the spores do their thing. The battery will still work, even! Shroomy could do it, but still wishes to give DP a choice. Said choice would stretch beyond the current fight. Would it be willing to leave its own body behind to be free, or at least free-er? Still, those are questions for later.
