Like this.” Ginyu says, splitting himself into two identical Captain Ginyu before you. “Unlike with the Multiform technique, I can spit myself as many times as I want without my power taking any noticeable hit to do so. Each body seemingly possesses my full power and abilities, and can operate individually.”
“Then why did you leave part of yourself behind?” you ask him, curious. “Wouldn't it have been better to be at full power for this?”
“Yes, it would. However, being asleep and sleeping through the duration of the tournament would have been no help.” Ginyu says, briefly explaining the longer sleep cycle of this body. How it can go months without sleep, but then crashes and requires days if not weeks of continues, uninterruptible deep sleep. Which does sound like quite the weakness, until Ginyu explains further about how he can split himself. “The short version is, right before heading down here I took my exhaustion and sleepiness, put it all into one body and left it behind to sleep. That way I could still participate and help out, even though I 'should' currently be asleep.”
“Isn't that sort of... Dangerous?” you ask, unsure what other word would even come close to sufficient. To which the captain chuckles.
“Don't worry about me, when we get back I'm combining back with myself and sleeping for at least a week.” the captain replies, you talking with the Ginyu Force and catching up with them as the final Super Dragon Ball is claimed, Whis steering the cubic ship back to Beerus' planet. It takes quite a while to make the trip, you losing yourself in conversation with the Force. Telling them about your children, each of them telling you of their lives. Recoome has a girlfriend now, one he's eager to bring around sometime when the missions lighten up on the East Quadrant. But as the world outside the cube begins returning to normal, you find yourself floating outside a rather strange place. It looks like an inverted pyramid made of some dark purple substance, a single massive tree at the center on the flat side raised up towards the sky with leafless branches, reminding you faintly of some sort of grasping hand. Floating nearby are the Super Dragon Balls, each one massive and seemingly dwarfing the God of Destruction's home itself.
“Good to be home.” Beerus says as the cube touches down atop the same level as the tree, landing out in the forest as he flies up through the cubic barrier to stand beside Whis. “Shall we begin?”
“Whenever you're ready.” the angel says, then turns back to you all. “Do not be alarmed, but this dragon's summoning is known to cause panic in.... Lesser races.”
“Good thing we're not lesser races then, let's do this!” Chaya says eagerly, no doubt eager for the show. “Let's see this 'Divine Dragon'!”
