>>6285661>>6285936>>6286642You decide that, all things being equal, you might as well use the time to make some pokeblocks.
You've been growing Pamtre berries this whole time for that express purpose and you've got a healthy supply of them now. And better yet - enough people to use all the ports on your blender.
When you pull it out and set it up on the table, Holly and Gareth both perk up.
"How's your stock of berries doing?" Gareth asks curiously.
"I've got enough Pamtre berries for all of us to use one." You reply.
"These'll be some damn high-grade blocks, then." Martha says. "I'd help, but... I'm no good at this." She says.
"That's fine."
You look around to see your mother approaching with a gleam in her eyes.
"It's quiet this time of morning, so I'll help." She says, taking the fourth port as you, Holly and Gareth take the others.
Getting things set up doesn't take long and on your mother's mark, you start blending.
Fortunately, the blender apparently feels like working today and with your mother's help you soon have the blender whirring like a turbine engine and you manage to keep it working thus for the majority of its operation.
When it finally dings it's finished and dispenses the finished blocks, they come out iridescent blue, looking almost like cubes of turquoise, rather than the royal blue you've managed previously.
"Oh, now these came out well." Your mother said, examining one with a look of satisfaction. "Your pokemon are going to love these." She adds seriously, taking five of the twenty your session produced, presumably for her own pokemon while you divvy the rest up with Holly and Gareth.
"They probably will." Holly agrees.
"Do you do Contests in your spare time?" Gareth asks politely.
Your mother smiles wisely.
"I used to, but I don't have the time these days." She adds. "I take it you managed to catch Feebas of your own at Lake Clarity?" She asks.
