“Not much…” Cici admits quietly, apparently a little disoriented as she says the words aloud. “Somebody asked why Gramma was scared an’ then… an’ then…”
“Cici, stop!” Cassandra hisses, her call and a tight hug bringing Cici’s mind back from the brink of another harrowing journey. “N-No more…. Please, just stop!”
[“An’ then I don’t remember…”] she finishes so just the voices can hear. [“But I think Uncle Lee was there…”]

“Cici!” she begins again when she realizes her child is no longer conscious, but Yesh is already there.
“She’s just sleeping now,” the tiny lizard man explains. “And it’s no wonder that she needs it after all of this.”
“I know…” Cassandra breathes tearfully. “I know. Just what was that? What. Just. Happened!?”
