If only Faysal could see you now! Being able to do his job for yourself rather than having to rely on him for all of it. You're even surprised yourself, the progress you've made with these humans compared to how you were towards them months ago and especially before your slumber. Nothing but pathetic little wretches to kill and eat, but now that you are alone, difficulty and hardship makes for strange allies. And you couldn't say, that it isn't a little enjoyable at least. Of course you'd rather be among your own, of course you'd like to destroy all these humans... but even humans are better than being alone.
Bah, you must be going soft! In any case you can stomp back to the village with the crowd in tow, and try to figure some things out from Cailinn over the noise.
<span class="mu-b">"...so <span class="mu-i">not</span> this... high king's court? But there is another location by the coast?"</span>
<span class="mu-s">"Yes, but our own lesser king will surely not allow this. And I do not think they will allow you to speak, you are not head of any clan let alone a king, or queen rather..."</span>
From the outset Cailinn and others expect that only the coastal clans would bother answering your invitational call, though this isn't a problem to you since you only care about the coastal clans for now. However it sounds like there are more significant cultural customs you will have against you, as to decorum and procedure of these sorts of gatherings and who would actually be permitted to address the gathering. You could certainly attend just like anyone else could, but as far as you imagine to stand before them all and deliver some speech or make some ultimatum, you would need a qualified person to do it for you... and you don't much like the idea of relying on a human for this sort of thing.
Well, it's something to think about but you don't worry too much about it, since you've got plenty of time ahead of you. Returning to the village with everyone to rejoin the festival, you even pressure the leaders here to permit the outsiders and envoys to join, rather than just camp outside the village in observance. A step in the direction you hope, and the coming two and a half months till this intended gathering.
>What do you do? With this time ahead of you, you can play things out (at an expedited rate) or you can give some guidelines to follow, for the months to pass till the date of interest. Basically you have the two months and a bit, to occupy yourself and do whatever you please.
