Quoted By:
As per Allectius and Methodian's precise planning, our troops will arrive, lights and cavalry first, and heavies following rapidly behind. The march here has been kind, but horrid things are on the wind.
Still, our troops are rested and fed and have plenty of water in these dry hateful environments. Meanwhile, those Sparksworn, they look haggard. They've been struggling . . for a while? But then, where is the 2nd Cohort? Where is Fireskellian? Up head, their Command Post is smoke-blackened and swirled by haze, the clear sign of Threshold violations building by the gradual degree. The fervor of the Sparksworn draws the attention of the grand Icons. Nothing will happen for hours yet, but still. Watch the sparks, from the campfires. They've started . . . dancing.
We should move fast. Organise. We blundered slightly into the enemy, but these things happen to the best prepared of troops!

Officers may now issue orders to troops!
>Each Phase, officers - YOU - have 1 personal action. Since speaking is always a free action, naturally, your Retinue, which is usually right there with you, can be given an order fairly easily as well if you wish it. Otherwise, they follow you as best as able.
>For anything else, you require either personal presence or a Command post, to send orders to distant troops without running there yourself. And running about in heavy armor? That's tiring work.
>Submit your Actions and Orders, if any, using naturalistic language. Don't worry *too* much about precise micromanagement, our troops are professionals.
>Once we get a COMMAND POST setup, which the soldiers will do the moment the area is clear, grid references and better surveys become availble. But right now, we don't have a *table* for our *maps*!
>Get some control over this chaos!!
