At this point in the year, every student at Garreg Mach knows to steer clear and give him his space when he comes to train. You can tell right away from the change in his form and stance that the heir to House Fraldarius has come a long way from when the two of you used to spar at the beginning of the year. Interestingly enough, you find him holding a bizarre-looking shield in his left hand while he runs his drills. He’d never brought a shield into battle before, let alone such a unique one. At a glance, it looks as though it’s made out of some sort of animal bone. Perhaps he’s been looking to add some more defense to the way he fights? The change piques your interest, especially since you didn’t just come here to ogle at the lad. The two of you had somewhat of a rivalry when you first came here, and you figure it would be nice to give it a satisfactory conclusion.
“I’m not here to put on a show, Blair.” Felix calls out from the middle of the training ground upon noticing you. “Either come down here and spar with me or go watch someone else.”
>You jump into the ring. “You’re as blunt as ever. Would it kill you to start off with some small talk? Maybe ask how I’ve been since you’ve last seen me?”“Don’t care.”
>You sigh. “I swear, you remind me too much of Rex. All you two are obsessed with is fighting stronger foes.”“Rex de Rusalka?” Felix asks, eyebrows raised. “I’d enjoy crossing blades with the Empire’s Sky Shadow. Any way you can set that up?”
>“I’m sure my Lord Brother would relish the thought of planting you in the ground, but unfortunately, your bout is with me today.”Felix smirks. “I suppose that will have to do. We’ve come a long way since our first duel. What say we use our actual weapons this time? We have some healers on standby today, and we can always pull our punches a bit.”
>You shrug. “Fine by me. After how rude you were, I think I’d prefer using my Silver Lance as opposed to a wooden one right now.”
