“Good to be back, Silver. It's been too long.” the Destroyer replies, giving a small grin as well as Broly passes your daughter back to you. “This spread looks quite appetizing, you've outdone yourself.”
“Thank you, Lord Beerus.” he replies, bowing to the god. “Well, enough standing around. Have yerselves a seat, and help yerself.”
“I think I will.” Beerus replies, sitting in front of the plate Jim set down. You and Meloka sit together side-by-side, all your kids sitting close as they can to her.
As you all eat each of your kids try to tell her about everything they've done since she left, your wife struggling to listen to and acknowledge them all. But she does her best, Okira coming to after a minute or so sitting in your lap. She then sees her mother, eyes widening as she shouts, “MOMMY!” leaping up from your lap at her. Meloka catches her easily, holding her a moment before your youngest starts talking a mile a minute at her.
“Woah, woah, slow down Okira.” she says, patting her head. “You're going too fast. Take a deep breath, okay?”
She does, your daughter telling her about how you'd taken her to become a Super Saiyan and she felt really strong, but really angry.
“Is this how it always feels?” she asks, Meloka giving you a glance before addressing her.
“At first, yes. But over time it goes away, when you get better control.” she says aloud, while reaching out to you telepathically. “When you gave her energy, did she become a Super Saiyan? Or was she another Berserker, like you and Broly?”
“She was like us, yes.” you reply, seeing Meloka's brow twitch at that. But other than the subtle tell her expression doesn't change while listening to Okira go on, simultaneously talking with you. You explain everything that happened today, from the battle with the last Arbiter on Sanghelios to coming home to a psychic or magical mind control attack on that girl, to helping your daughter transform.
“Seems you've been busy while I was away.” she thinks to you, reaching over with her tail and twisting yours around. The two of you hold each other that way while you continue eating, the kids all telling her different things they've done since she left. And, after a while the meal's over, everyone having eaten their fill, during a lull in the conversation Beerus speaks up once more.
“Now that everyone's gotten all reacquainted and we've all had our fill, how about we see the fruits of your training, Meloka?” he asks her, in a tone that in no way implies his sentence is a question. To which she again looks over to you.
