You didn't have any opportunity to catch up with this one, for she was one of the two who were held captive in a different room. She starts leading you deeper into the apartment.
You notice that it's stuffy, but not hot enough to raise any alarm bells like a workshop would. If he does anything strenuous in here, it might tip off the bots and force them to come investigate. Having so many Digimon is already pushing it near the limit.
Doc is tinkering with his Digivice on a table, with several screens hooked up to it. It's displaying some kind of battle interface, with all three Kokuwamon being pit against a simulated dummy. He pauses the fight and turns to face you once you walk in.
"Welcome to mi casa, what do you think? Comfy, eh?"
You look around the disused room, with its dreary lighting and drooping furniture. The lights are off to conserve processing power, and the only other source apart from his computers is the open fridge in the kitchen. Kokuwamon #3 is rummaging through it.
"...Sure. You okay, Doc? Health-wise?"
"I'm fine. No need to worry about a man my age, I can take care of myself. Oh, feel free to send your boy out. I've got room for one more."
"Hololize."
Phascomon materializes on the mushy carpet. He immediately gags and starts shaking his legs, scared of having its flaky fragments left behind on his textures. It's degrading rapidly. This saferoom looks like it hasn't been used in years.

A scowl crosses your face at his insensitivity, and you lightly kick his back.
<span class="mu-s">"Ow!"</span>
"So did I, little bear. So did I. But there's no going back now."
He sighs and pushes the screens out of the way, clearing the desk out for you. Several objects come out of his inventory, and he tinkers with them while keeping an eye on the both of you.
"I don't want to talk about the mall anymore."
"Okay."

"Whatever I had in place to fend off intruders, it was... inadequate. And one of my partners died for it. I don't blame you for what happened. You're the type to fret, girl, so I need you to know that."
It's true. A part of you has been feeling bad about all this. You defeated BlackAgumon, didn't finish him off, and then stole two of his prey. You've been feeling responsible for causing this all in the first place, and it's like he's reading your mind.
"All of this is on that little shite, for attacking Kokuwamon that day. And he'll get what's coming. But so will you. Have a seat."
