The Blackstone Fortress was a place that was not just a warmachine, for its size made no sense to relegate it to such a simplistic role. Being bigger than even a great number of cities meant that it held everything from manufacturing to amenity generation for the common serf who served upon the vessel.
Of course, being a ship of the Mechanicum, TalOS’s focus was to create a place for the Mechnicum. As such it contained a great many laboratories, monitaries, and even a data vault that contained a vast collective knowledge of the Mechanicum. It was only reasonable that it contained a great amount of debate halls for which the theology of the Mechanicus shall be interpreted.
For the one TalOS was within it was the greatest of all of them.
One cannot stress the fact that the Artisans had a great hand in the remodeling of the Blackstone Fortress. Being what is the greatest planet of such Artisan craftsman one might even have taken such a fact for granted. Here though, within these chambers, was where those craftsmen decided should be the greatest of all attention be placed into.
Starting upon the floor was a series of patterns where the Artisans created a series of integrated tiling. The tiles, unlike many of the other realms, were made from the steel of buildings lost from the battles against the Plastoids. Between each and every one of these was the blackened steel of the Lucian Star Forge. Such work gave a simulation of ceramic tiling, but the metal was strong enough to support even a Knight of Dutonis if they were to walk into this hall.
Beyond the floor were the terraces and seating that the Tech Priests were all upon. As the place was within the center of the fortress the Tech Priests who engineered this marvel realized that they could easily place a great amount of the seating on top of one another causing the amount of humans able to attend the summits by fifty percent. While this was similar in fashion to the halls of Lucius, a noticeable difference was the seat of the ajorning Tech Priest was placed close to the floor unlike the lofty heights the Lucian great court enjoyed.
Above them all was the lighting of the place, which was given by a series of carefully crafted lights that were set about everywhere within the room. At the center however was a great light that was closer to the plasma of a sun than any actual light bulb.
A magnificent piece of work for all who gained the privilege to attend, for even a Magos would have trouble stepping here before his peers. It was a sign of Federal power and also a symbol of the core values that TalOS and Lucius held dear. That if the person held enough weight in reason, their words would be listened to.
The seating was full of numerous representatives and conclaves. Each terrace wishing to hear out what is to be presented today. Around TalOS were those whose votes mattered, and they would decide the fate of the coming technologies.
