Only silence greets you.
“Peedee, what’s going on? Why aren't you doing your job and updating this?” You whisper at a level only you and your comm can hear.
“Am doing.” Comes the synthesised response. “Nothing moved. They frozen. See? All fuzzy.”
Small squiggly lines work their way up over the depicted scene, Peedee’s way of indicating some distortion in the air before you.
Kiro seems to be only an arms length away and yet it might as well be lightyears. At least they all appear to be uninjured, despite their motionless state.
