>>5362618Much of what you can do is inherited from your divine mother. From her directly and from faithful you know the stories. In a time before time, of Kili'ou'lokane the folk hero, who like other similar mythical figures achieved divinity from her great deeds. The culmination of which being that she was the very first human ever to try and traverse the seas, or so was the belief in the part of the world you come from. Intrigued by this stranger the ocean itself dragged her under, for various sea gods to hold among themselves like some treasure and never let go.
Trapped underwater and eternally drowning, Kili cried out for help from her fellow humans, but lost as she was she was soon forgotten and replaced by other folk heroes. And so she became the vengeful god of despair that you know her as, the punishing aspect of the sea so that humans might remember her again, and maybe one day with enough faith she could be raised and freed from the sea.
To this end, is why she created you. Among many things she tried in hopes of escape, one such effort in desperation was to seek help from creatures of the sea around her. With them as mates she bore many sea monster offspring, you and your siblings, so that you all would be able to carry her divine will from out of the sea and to land, to remind the humans of her. Whether half-shark, half-whale, half-turtle or whatever else have you from your respective fathers, all of you half-human as well from your divine mother.
And on her behalf you all acted, demigods all to carry her divine will, but that was all in the past now it seems. Before your own imprisonment, when you could still hear your goddess in the deep.
>>5362618>>5362630You believe this would be possible, same as how you gained power from the kraken, you could impart it to others. Humans being a candidate because of your own half-human nature. Although you can't just generate and sacrifice power for free. If you think of your total divine power as the (current) 110 maximum that you act/roll with, then say you imparted 10 of your divine essence to a disciple, they would now have their own (minor) portion of divinity at the cost of 10 of yours, back down to 100.
So if you want to rely on this method, it could be quite effective and reliable, but it would necessitate finding ways to increase your divine power. Whether through more great deeds, or consuming beings with their own divinity, or if you can think of other potential ways.
>>5362852>>5362879You believe this also would be possible, and certainly any offspring you make would inherit power and might from you. Though it probably is the most unsavory option available to you, even if it is the simplest option, because of your disdain for the humans. If nothing else though, it would certainly ensure loyalty, if you created a "new" race of your own children.
