You froze. There was a long pause after that, where neither you, nor the Green Beret moved a single muscle. After two long minutes, you heard a rusty door creaking open, and the Green Beret stepped inside the train car. It was a double decker, of all things. Who just abandons a double decker?
Abandoning the stray thought, you slowly circled the large train car, searching for an easy way in. You found none, but you did happen upon a shattered window that seemed just big enough to allow you entry. You’d have to avoid the sharp glass and plastic, though.
Carefully, you removed your shoes, placed your hands and feet on the wall, one-by-one, and slipped inside. Your heart thundered in your ears as the glass gently scraped along the fabric of your jacket. Once that nightmare was over, you crawled onto the train’s ceiling and began crawling towards the end of the car, where you saw a bright light shining through a half open door. You barely noticed the graffiti on the walls and ceiling, the plywood that had been used to shore up the holes in the walls, or the torn leather on the worn seats. All of your attention was focused on not making a single sound as you crept closer to her.
You peered inside through the crack in the door, and saw a beautiful blonde woman examining a white tablet with a microscope. They looked like pills, and she seemed to have set up a makeshift chem lab in this train car. Dr. Connors would be proud.
The woman picked up one of the tablets, absently popped one into her mouth and swallowed it without removing her eyes from the microscope. You hoped that she wasn’t a drug addict. That would make her widely unpredictable.
The other thing you noticed after you pulled your eyes away from her golden locks were her yellow eyes. They reminded you of the Goblin’s. At least, the ones in that mask that he wore.
And on the far side of the room, you saw the bag that contained the shield that everyone was after.
What will you do?
>Take a picture of her face. You can ask around about her later.>Have Richard create a diversion so you can get her out of the lab.>Fire a Garlic Pepper Pellet at her face, and snag the shield while she’s blinded.>Try talking to her. Maybe she’s not as batshit insane as the rest of her cohorts.(Write-in)>Just sit there and watch her for a while longer.>Write-in.Pastebins:
