What I'm asking you guys to roll for is not character personality, since every quest is to some extent a self-insert, and with many players, there's no way to reliably play a given personality, at least in the beginning and in such a situation. I expect a character personality of sorts will develop over time of its own accord.
avert your eyes, ye who love immersion: the rolls are for
"stats" as it were, specific types of knowledge the character can have learned from a previous life (both in and out of this world) which can help achieve certain things more easily over the course of the game. These areas of expertise can be especially useful, for example, in the face of being lied to by subordinates and swindled by rivals, or in managing the arising problems of governance.
