>Reach out and snatch it.
Your eyes flutter open and hands lunge out, a kind of hypnagogic reflex common amongst those of your kin. You wrap your claws around something very soft and very fragile as you come to..
“Ahk..! Bitch! Ow! Oww…!” A small voice cries in pain as you do. You keep your hands firm around it, your conscience slowly catching up with your awakening body–.. the night sky, the thick brush, the cool air.. something squirming in your hands. “That’s one way to treat the girl who saved you. Let go..!”
The fae swears as she attempts to wrest herself from your grip. Your eyes widen a little in surprise at the sight of her. The fae are said to be among the rarest of all monsters. You have only heard tell of them, across the fire from the rare few creatures of the night you know to have caught a glimpse.
A small, flighty, curious creature, with impressive natural magic to hide themselves and heal others. The fairies have earned themselves quite the unique notoriety among humankind–myths call them unique from monsters, a gentle creature that roam the forests in harmony with nature and keep peace with humans.
The fae have a different reputation among monsterkind: said to be among the most insidious of monsters, they target humans infirm, elderly, and young to lead into the woods and never be seen again. They’re a naturally selfish race, often leading monsters to their deaths all the same as they do humans. They do NOT have a good reputation.
Your grip on the thing tightens.
>Demand to know where you are.
>Ask what happened after you were shot.
>You were with another one. Larger, in darker wear, with a larger ass. What happened to her?
>Loose your grip on the thing a little.
