You turned in for the night. There was a long road ahead of you, and you need rest. But more importantly, you needed to get a step ahead of the opposition, and that could only come this night by doing one thing; Dreaming, as much as the activity had become taboo for you lately.
You and Clownpiece were both happy to join Hakurei Reimu in the hearth of her Shrine, and she herself was happy to see you were actually okay after spending time playing with the Hell Fairy. She had to remark about how it seemed that you could get along with almost everyone you meet, even the real rascals of the bunch. You saw it too. You were sure you could even become friends with Cirno, as much as the blood feud between you and her had grown in just one interaction.
It's cause for a laugh to be shared among you, the Shrine Maiden and the Hell Fairy as you all sit on the edge of her Shrine's wraparound, indulging in warm tea and the delicacy that is Dango.
Before long, everyone is tired as the night settles in, with stomachs full of Dango. Clownpiece was so tired, the Hell Fairy fell asleep right there on the floor in the living room, Reimu making sure to take her madness torch and, while looking away from it, placing it in something like a sconce to keep it from spreading fire. She shushes you with her finger as you head into the guest room.
You knew what she was off to do during the day, so you had to ask her... was she going to be okay in the Dream World?
The Miko just smiles confidently and reassures you that no matter what comes her way, she would get over it. And she'd bring Marisa and Reisen back for sure. You nod softly at her reassurance. You didn't tell her yourself that you planned on dreaming, but you swore you'd wake up in time to be able to tell her before she left.
To your surprise, Reimu gave you a quick hug to your shoulders and sent you off to bed before going to hers.
You lay back on the futon in your yukata, and shut your eyes, going off to dreaming...
