Another day of grueling research to understand the facts that the Thousand Sons suffered greatly for some reason. Recent examinations showed TalOS how the infection spread which made him wonder what could be done about it.
With the soul being what was infected they could try and tear apart the piece of the soul which is infected. This was likely the most reasonable and stop gap measure which TalOS would place upon them. There was a small window in the infection where the Astartes was fighting it which would be able to be employed. What it would do to the Astartes TalOS did not know but he suspected it would wipe out a greater part of their personality and what made them, them.
This was what TalOS wanted to send for a possible examination in Xana. Their research into the soul and Pariahs was something TalOS might be able to employ. Maybe by using a Pariah TalOS could have them eat a piece of the victim in an attempt to stave off the infection. The Blank would have no issues since they were a blank, while the victim will be saved.
This is what TalOS came to the Astropathic Choir of Terra to discuss. When he entered the chambers and informed them that he was here to discuss a message from Xana he was quickly farried from the guest chambers and into a sequestered room of the Psykers.
His wait in the room was not long but was at the very least pleasant. The singing of mankind filled his psycho-sensitive ears instead of the droning laughter or the screams of the warp. He was received by a simple Astropath who did not speak a word and gave him the greatest of bows. He watched as the Telepath took a small needle and inserted it into their hand.
In an instant their eyes widened as psycho-conditioned recall activated, “Fabricator General TalOS DAV1S, I have the honor to inform you that our latest experiment has been a success. Out of fifty Astartes to whom we agreed to testing, we have been blessed with a single success. His name, Sargent Nietzsche, shall be known as the first Pariah Astartes.”
The voice seemed to inflict as the woman continued her unnaturally mechanical tone, “We believe this success was given thought both by machine, other Pariahs, and the willpower of this Astartes. As you are a Princeps with a will that knows no bounds, I believe we can begin your ascension.”
