>Head over to the police station.
Lorene just thinks for a few moments. “…Alright, I’m gonna head over.”
“And??”
Lorene smugly smiles. “And I’m gonna decide what to do when I get there.”
“Oh, come on!” Lorene can tell the girl just threw her hands in the air exasperatedly. “But actually, that’s fair. See you when I see you.”
“See ya.”
They both hang up. Lorene glances around. Right, she was still by the abandoned factory district. She exhales. Time to figure out the bus routes once more.
As she enjoys the wonders of public transportation, Lorene considers what to do. Perhaps when she got there, she could try to sneak in and take a look at the map herself, so she wouldn’t need to bring Olivia along? Chances were, though, that if Olivia saw her do that, she’d try to tail her anyway. Lorene stares out the bus-window at the streets sluggishly moving along her field of vision. If only there were a way to convince her that she could genuinely protect herself, without saying things that’d get her locked up in a mental institution.
A few transfers and a few blocks of walking later, Lorene finds herself outside the police station.
>What’s the plan? Meet up with Olivia inside? Sneak in? Something else?
