But why not go further and change even the art? Instead of just evil mischievous short halflings or wicked hairy footed hobbits, no one can take this seriously - why not split the Half-Men the other way (vertically). Now the Half-Men are stitched together corpse cultists, who sew the evil shadow halves of helpless victims together. Somewhere R Scott Bakker and all his Nonmen Inchoroi and demon lore is being sadistically yet pleasurably plagiarised
