Upon the command of the Death Lord the newly christened Death Guard began their march out of the Trenches into the fight. As they walked forward several artillery bombardments came raining down upon the incredible flow of Mutants that were still flying towards them.
With the move up the Steel Wardens began firing upon targets that TalOS designated. Numerous monstrous forms were cut down to what TalOS would call the most gross and corrupted of them all. Mortarion raised a scythe in waiting as a horde was now being funnled by the advancing Death Guard towards their position.
TalOS raised his hand and watched them approaching with a berzerk zeal. He counted the seconds within his mind and when they were finally within range he engaged his weapons. The creature that were suddenly charging him were stopped dead in their tracks as they were caught in one of TalOS’s time fields. There were others, but none were as good of a sample as the one TalOS now held.
So with a torrent of time manipulation TalOS caused the bodies of those creatures in front of him to malfunction. Every piece of their body experiences a different time relationship to their current reality. At its lowest forms the body experienced blood clots and suffocation as the blood cannot flow to areas it is needed. For the muscles there was a tendency to have an explosion.
Such was what happened to the creatures before TalOS. Their bodies become slagged rags as muscles tensed far faster than they should have.
Mortician looked upon TalOS for a second and took in a long drawn out breath. His eyes were staring deeply into TalOS with a fury that began to wane in the next instant. While his brother did not say anything else TalOS felt his brother’s soul ‘sense’ the area around it in the likely inspection for Psykers. Seemingly satisfied, his brother ran forward.
As Mortarion now ran past TalOS the Genetor walked up and released his subject from stasis. The creature could not run as the hands of a Primarch quickly wrapped themselves around the creature’s neck and so many of its limbs were quickly snapped.
It was a sickening existence whatever this life form was. The only way to describe this creature would be a ghoul from the ancient times of mankind. It had all the hallmarks of mutation, with the body ever changing even as it tried to escape the grasp of TalOS.
