To compare the attack of a Plasma Annihilator to anything else cannot be made with the reasoning of mankind. The closest to what man has brought down onto the battlefield was the Fusion Bombs of old, but those weapons were only one time use and would bring contamination to the enviroment.
What the Plasma Annihilator brought was the same power of a star upon the battlefield. A single shot of this gun caused devastation against those who stood near the Titan, numerous houses and the like being set alight by their proximity to the blast.
The next was the devastation sought against by the weapon’s real target. In this case it was a large gun installation which was sending a constant stream of laser fire against the hull of the great giant which dwarfed the sky. It was once there, likely a mighty creation meant to defend the city from even orbital bombardments that might seek to harm it from afar. Records showed that it was the pride and achievement of these people who saw themselves as better than the rest of mankind.
With a single shot it was gone. Turn into a molten pile of sludge along with the rest of the wall which it sat upon for numerous Leman Russes to cross through.
As TalOS scored a kill here he directed all his other guns to the other defence installations. Gunfire rained upon these structures which one by one were turned into sundering ruins for the future to pick through.
As there was nothing harming TalOS he brought his attention to the battle outside. No longer locked in a struggle against the defenses and behind what was keeping his shots out, TalOS allowed the Hellstorm Cannon he possessed to scream a bloody murder across the field. Each shot was comparable to the size of vehicles and were fed with ancient machines that were barely understood by the Mechanicum itself.
None survived as these bullets landed across the field. Death was sundered as entire squads were wiped from the field. Any infantry that was either near or were fighting with the vehicles were wiped out thanks to the sheer impact of these shells.
The last of the defenders who held any real struggle were wiped out with a single shot of the Plasma Annihilator. A great size crater of molten glass where the attackers once were.
A sense of satisfaction washed among TalOS from Particep Semper. The feeling of total annihilation creeping through his veins like a powerful drug felt all the more real because TalOS understood exactly what was happening.
The city was his, none could stand in his way now.
